Eric Bos

Eric Bos is a painter and curator living and working in Baltimore, MD.  He moved to Baltimore to go to the Maryland Institute College of Art, from which he will be graduating in 2010.  Rather than move out of the city to someplace with a larger art market, he decided to stay and move up, not out, to help Baltimore’s fledgling arts scene gain momentum.  In the summer of 2009 he got together with 13 other young artists and helped create Open Space, a unique gallery space up against an auto repair shop in a small industrial neighborhood.  The gallery and his day job cooking at a local hotspot keep him pretty occupied, but after the spackling and sautéing he likes to come home, watch a movie, and sleep with the cats.
